Easter is an important celebration in the Christian calendar, where we remember Jesus’ sacrifice on the Cross and his victory over death.  Easter usually falls in late March or within April.

To support leaders in celebrating Easter, we have put together a range of programme ideas that you could use:

New for 2026

  • Palm Sunday Theme (Anchors) – A lot can happen in a week! Before the supper on the Thursday, the sadness of the Friday and the joyfulness of the Sunday, came Jesus riding into Jerusalem on a Donkey. Let’s find out more about Palm Sunday and that joy and excitement that it brought!
  • Easter Tear Art (Anchors) – Create your own Easter tear art as we celebrate and remember the sacrifice Jesus made for us on the cross.
  • Mini Egg Cookies (Juniors) – Celebrate Easter with some very tasty treats, as you combine mini eggs into cookie dough and get baking.
  • Easter Through the Eyes of … the Criminal (Company) – Explore the Easter story from the perspective of the criminal on the cross alongside Jesus. What can we learn about who Jesus is and what the story of Easter means for us from this perspective?
  • Easter Through the Eyes of … Judas (Seniors) – Explore the Easter story from the perspective of Judas and his night of betrayal. What can we learn about who Jesus is and what the story of Easter means for us, from this perspective?
