The Gazette is the official magazine of The Boys’ Brigade in the United Kingdom & Republic of Ireland. The termly magazine for leaders is sent out to around 6,000 of our registered leaders and is also available online – read the Gazette now.
Issues are Autumn (published July/August) and Spring (published November/December).
The Gazette contains information, news, resources, discussion and topical features focussed on supporting our volunteer leaders.
Receiving the magazine
If you are registered as a leader in The Boys’ Brigade (in the following categories of leadership: Captains, Lieutenants, Amicus Leaders, Warrant Officers, Battalion/District Office Bearers and Reserve Officers) you will receive a copy of the magazine as part of your membership. If your category of membership does not receive a Gazette or you are not a leader and would like to receive the Gazette, then you can become a subscriber by completing the form and sending in your annual payment.

We accept small advertisements within the ‘Directory’ section of the magazine as well as quarter/half/full page adverts throughout. To enquire about advertising in the Gazette please email gazette@boys-brigade.org.uk or phone 0300 303 4454.

Small advertisements
For Campsites, Residential/Activity Centres and items wanted or for sale. All advertisements are based on up to 225 characters (including spaces and punctuation) plus contact details (telephone number, email and website address) at a cost of £10 (including VAT) per issue.
Full colour advertisements
Full page – £450
Half page – £250
Quarter page – £150
Outside back cover – £550
Inside back cover – £470
+ VAT at the current rate applicable on all bookings
Discount of 30% available to BB Companies/Battalions/Districts and 10% to other Registered Charities.
Block book 2 issues and receive a 5% discount, or 10% for 3+ issues.
