Easter is an important celebration in the Christian calendar, where we remember Jesus’ sacrifice on the Cross and his victory over death. Easter usually falls in late March or within April.
To support leaders in celebrating Easter, we have put together a range of programme ideas that you could use:
New for 2022
- Easter Story Wheel (Anchors) – Create a story wheel that tells the story of Easter as you spin it around.
- Easter Story Trail (Juniors) – Hunt around for the 6 Easter Story posters, scan the QR code and watch the different parts of the Easter story in our narrated videos.
- Pancakes (Juniors) – A themed programme celebrating pancake day and looking ahead to Lent.
- The Last Supper (Company) – Find out what happened at the Last Supper and why it’s still important to us today, with this themed programme.
- Pancake Art (Seniors) – Get creative in the kitchen by making some artistic pancakes. Afterwards spend some time thinking about Lent and sacrifices we could make.
