KGVI Youth Leader Training is a course aimed at all those aged 17 to 21 years old who would like to move into leadership in The Boys’ Brigade.
What is KGVI?
KGVI is a two-week long residential experience (split over two years) with all that you need to become a leader in The Boys’ Brigade. The course takes place annually, with one held in England/Wales and one in Scotland.
What happens at KGVI?
All participants will cover the core and some additional modules of Youth Leader Training (basic training for all leaders in The Boys’ Brigade).
Through this participants will have an opportunity to:
- learn new skills
- make new friends
- get new ideas and inspiration
- explore your own faith
- grow in confidence
- share and widen experiences
The KGVI programme is designed to give participants opportunity to gain some experience through leading sessions and share experiences with other participants.
There will also be free time where there will be opportunity to use on site recreational facilities, relax and socialise.
