Leaders Code of Conduct
Friday 10th December 2021The Code of Conduct and Code of Good Practice (blue card) have now been reviewed, updated and combined. The new Leaders Code of Conduct sets out the standards of behaviour and conduct expected from all BB leaders. This is important as leaders are in a position of authority and influence over children and young people and are seen as role models. By following the Code, leaders will ensure they always conduct themselves appropriately, doing the right thing in the right way. This will ensure that children and young people are protected from harm; situations where misunderstandings, concerns or allegations occur are reduced; and all safeguarding concerns and allegations, and any complaints are managed in line with our policies and procedures. Leaders are responsible for making sure they have read, understood and agree to follow the Code of Conduct.
