The Boys’ Brigade takes safeguarding seriously and is fully committed to creating safe, supportive environments where children and young people can thrive.
We have robust safeguarding policies in place that meet national standards and are regularly reviewed. All leaders and volunteers are safely recruited, including appropriate DBS/PVG checks, references, and clear expectations of conduct. Ongoing safeguarding training ensures leaders know how to recognise concerns, respond appropriately, and act in the best interests of young people at all times.
We work closely with churches and parents, promoting transparency, accountability, and best practice. Safeguarding is not an add-on to what we do — it is central to who we are.
