Social Media Awards – Congratulations to our winners!

Thursday 19th June 2025

Our Social Media Awards returned for 2025, aiming to celebrate the creativity, dedication and hard work of our volunteer leaders and young people.

It was fantastic to receive over 100 nominations from across the country, which were whittled down to a shortlist of finalists in each of the four categories.

Judging was carried out by a panel made up of representatives from the BB and Refresh PR along with Madi Neville, one of our young leaders who was involved in the social media presence of one of last year’s award winners.

Madi said: “The Boys’ Brigade has been one of the most life changing experiences and I’m sure that everyone involved will agree. Over the years of being a leader I have grown a passion for social media and I love being able to showcase to the wider community just who we are and all the fun we have.”

“Being a part of the judging for the Social Media Awards was brilliant. Congratulations to the winners and finalists this year – your creativity, your effort, your hard work and your awesome social media does not go unnoticed!”

“If you haven’t already, now is your time to set up a social media page for your group, and always remember, social media is a great tool to tell people our BB stories and share how much of a positive impact we have on the lives of children and young people.”

25% of the scoring was decided by a public vote, which saw over 2,350 votes received – thank you to everyone who voted for your support!

We’d like to say a huge well done to all of the groups who were shortlisted, and congratulations to the winners:
