Join us at Satellites Festival 2026
Satellites is a youth festival which takes place in the school summer holidays, in 2026 from 6th to 10th August* at Bath & West Showground. We are working in partnership with Satellites to host a BB village at the event, to encourage and support BB and Spaces groups to attend.
In 2025 the event was attended by around 3,000+ young people aged 12+ years as well as around 500 adult leaders. The five-day event is run by our friends at Youthscape, and the festival is focussed around helping young people to explore their faith and provides a range of activities including worship, workshops, sports, games, creative spaces and more.
*as the Satellites programme finishes late on Monday 10th August most groups will stay over and travel home the following day (Tuesday 11th August)
Why come to Satellites?
- Provide a summer camp for your young people (11+ years) and leaders.
- Join in a fun, engaging and varied programme aimed at all stages of faith and none.
- Make memories together and see lives transformed.
Come and join the BB Village at Satellites 2026
It’s an opportunity to bring smaller numbers but be part of a larger event. As part of the BB village, we will camp together and provide additional resources and support. Being part of the BB village also means that leaders are not required to hold the usual BB Holiday Leadership and Camp Craft certificate requirements. The BB village will be fully catered (3 meals a day), provide a central space to meet (marquee) and be together and some specific BB activities during the week.
What can we expect at Satellites?
With opportunities to join together in worship, pray and hear inspiring talks which can help support young people in their faith journey. It’s an opportunity to go deeper, creating the space to get to know young people in a way that doesn’t always happen week to week at home.
The programme across the week will include:
- Sports and Games (including tournaments)
- Arts and Crafts
- Workshops and Seminars
- Inflatables, Skate Park, Climbing Wall
- Morning & Evening Main Sessions with games, worship, teaching
- Silent Disco and Themed Parties
- Late night programme (quiz, films, etc)
- Gaming Zone
- Café, Tuck Shop and spaces to hangout!

BB’s Inflatable & Activity Village @ Satellites 2026 – Volunteering Opportunity
We will once again be hosting our own venue at Satellites 2026, providing a range of activities including inflatables, games and more! We are looking for volunteers (16+ years) to form a team to assist us in running activities within our venue as well as supporting groups attending as part of the BB Village.
If you would be interested in being part of this team, you would get a FREE ticket to the event which includes all food and refreshments as well as accommodation (camping). We may also be able to support reasonable travel costs to and from the event. As well as supporting the BB venue (4-5 hours each day), you would have plenty of time to join in other parts of the programme, as well as time to relax.
If you are interested, please get in touch with our Ministry Team ministry@boys-brigade.org.uk
