During my time in The Boys’ Brigade I’ve had the privilege of being in the presence of the Queen on a few occasions, at Trooping the Colour and as a guest at one of the Royal Garden Party’s. At these events, and others, I have been immensely impressed by the dedication to duty that The Queen maintained throughout her life.
As Patron to our organisation, Her Majesty continued to take a great interest in the work of The Boys’ Brigade and it was a privilege just last weekend to be in Manchester and hear her address to Brigade Council.
May the souls of the faithfully departed rest in peace and rise in glory. Amen.
