During Summer 2025, we’re running our ‘Braver, Further, Faster, Higher’ Challenge, with a focus on encouraging children and young people to get out of their comfort zone.
This company wide challenge tasks all age groups with ticking off one of the four categories of the challenge, ‘Braver’, ‘Further’, ‘Faster’ or ‘Higher’. This means that the youngest Anchor to the oldest Senior will all be working towards the same challenge of conquering fears, taking on new activities, reaching new heights and getting out of their comfort zone.
Each age group has their own unique challenge. These are:
Braver (Anchors): Put your bravery to the test, by taking on a challenge that gets you trying something new or conquering a fear. Example might include holding reptiles, going on an adventure trail, trying new foods or putting on a talent show.
Further (Juniors): Juniors are tasked with the ‘Further’ category, taking on an activity that requires them to travel so far in a unique and adventurous way. Examples might include a fancy dress walk, a zip wire activity, a rock-climbing challenge or a bike ride.
Higher (Company): This challenge is all about reaching new heights. This could be by taking on an adventure activity such as high ropes, Jacob’s ladder, crate stacking. Alternatively consider climbing a high point in your local area (i.e. a hill or tall building).
Faster (Seniors): Seniors are set the challenge to reach a target speed in a unique and adventurous way. This could be using a bike, canoe, go-kart, zip-wire or something else.
Each age group have their own activity on the Programme Hub to explore these challenges further.
Once all four of the age groups have ticked off their challenge, let us know and we can then send you your certificate to recognise the successfully completion of the challenge.
If you don’t have four age groups in your Company, then you can still apply. Just let us know on the form. Alternatively an age group could look to take on more than one category of the challenge, so as a Company you can still tick off all four areas.

Linked to our ‘Your Future’ partnership with the University of Bolton, we’re pleased to offer Company & Seniors a grant of up to £250 to go towards ticking off their adventure activity. These grants will initially be open during the Summer 2025 term and groups must also complete a ‘Your Future’ activity in order to qualify.
Please note these grants are only available for Company & Seniors, as the funding for this project is aimed at over 11’s.
