The Boys’ and Girls’ Brigade has recently been restarted in Duplan, Haiti and now has over 200 young people. Despite lacking many resources, the Company is doing well with a very enthusiastic group of members.
Supporting BB in Malawi
Global Fellowship has been supporting the BB in Malawi to get fully operational again. Using funds raised by The Boys’ Brigade (Church of Scotland) World Mission Fund and with support from the BB in Zambia’s training team, leader training was recently delivered at Katawa Church in Mzuzu.
Anguilla Day
The Boys’ and Girls’ Brigade in Anguilla held a parade to mark the celebrations for Anguilla Day, the island’s National Day and also a public holiday.
Windsor Park ICONZ
Members of Windsor Park ICONZ in New Zealand visited Wētā Workshop, a special effects and props company, taking advantage of their offer of free visits for school and community groups.
Thailand Field Trip
Members of 2nd Nakhon Ratchasima in Thailand took a field trip to Thai-Denmark Farm at Muaklek, Saraburi. They learned about the history of the farm and how to make fertiliser from milk, as well as gaining hands-on experience of milking cows, feeding calves and riding horses.
