Getting Out And About: Environmental Work
Wednesday 18th December 2019It has been great to see so many Companies engaging with the themes of climate and environment at Brigade evenings and weekends. A lot of recent national media coverage has been focusing on the need for environmental change and to see leaders and members taking action to increase awareness of some of the environmental challenges that we face has been inspiring.
135th Glasgow have been working to their own Environmental Pledge. Their pledge follows four main strands with a specific focus on environmental and climate protection. 135th Glasgow’s pledge has been shaping the group’s learning activities and community engagement plan, all whilst recognising the role that the Brigade has to play as a global youth organisation in the fight against destructive environmental damage.
