7th Dublin makes the most of COVID-19 restrictions!
Thursday 28th April 2022After having to suspend indoor activities under Covid-19 guidelines, the Company age group at 7th Dublin held an Outdoor Adventure Day in River Valley Park in Swords, North County Dublin. The young people and leaders had a great time exploring all the activities.
Their Anchors and Juniors also had a great day out at Newbridge House Farm, near the village of Donabate in North County Dublin. A highlight was a huge turkey which the children enjoyed having a “turkey conversation” with.
The Company hopes to become involved in the Charlie Bird Fundraising appeal for motor neurone disease. While they are restricted from joining Charlie on his epic climb of Croagh Patrick for environmental reasons, at time of publication they will have just climbed our own mountain in the shape of the Big Sugar Loaf in County Wicklow.
