Company Management Training is mandatory for anyone taking on a management role within the BB.
The training consists of an in-depth look into the role and responsibilities of the Captain or Leader-in-Charge, building and maintaining relationships, safeguarding and safe recruitment, including Leaders Code of Conduct and tools and resources to support the role.
This course is being facilitated by BB Headquarters. It is open to any registered leader looking to undertake the role of Captain or Leader-in-Charge, anyone new to the role of Captain or Leader-in-Charge or for anyone already in post who wants to attend as a refresher.
Prior to attending, participants must be registered with The Boys’ Brigade and have completed Youth Leader Training and the e-learning modules in Safeguarding and Managing Risk.
It will take place as follows:
- Monday 9th February, 7:00pm to 7:45pm: Management Role
- Monday 9th February, 7:55pm to 9:00pm: Safeguarding
- Monday 16th February, 7:00pm to 7:30pm: Managing Risk
- Monday 16th February, 7:35pm to 9:15pm: Managing & Supporting Your Team
- Monday 23rd February, 7:00pm to 7:45pm: Planning
- Monday 23rd February, 7:45pm to 8:45pm: Developing Your Team
- Monday 23rd February, 8:45pm to 9:15pm: Reflective Practice
