Safeguarding & Managing Risk (Dundee)

Dundee & Angus Battalion are running the Safeguarding and Managing Risk Modules of Youth Leader Training as standalone courses.

The Safeguarding module aims to enable participants to protect children and young people by raising awareness of Safeguarding & Child Protection issues and to know their responsibilities in this area.

This course is recognised by the Church of Scotland as an alternative to their Introductory Course (as long as no other regulated work is undertaken within your local Church).

The Managing Risk module will enable participants to create a safe environment for children and young people and ensure that activities are organised and delivered safely.

These courses are open to any registered leader. Participants must complete the Safeguarding and Managing Risk e-learning modules prior to registering for the trainings.

• Safeguarding: 10am to 12:30pm
• Managing Risk: 1:15pm to 2:30pm

No uniform required. Please bring a packed lunch. Please bring a pen and notepad.

The cost is £5 per head to cover hire of hall.
