Chess, Masterteam & Table Tennis National Finals 2026

Our National Finals for 2025-26 continued on Saturday 14th March, as our friends from The Northern Ireland Boys’ Brigade hosted our Chess, Masterteam (Quiz) and Table Tennis finals at Ganaway Activity Centre in County Down.

These events are three of our seven annual National Competitions, alongside Badminton, Football (Company & Seniors) and FIFA. Each competition sees teams take part in a number of local rounds before reaching their regional final and then, if successful, going on to the National Final.

This session we had 81 teams from across the UK start off in the Chess competition, 160 in Masterteam and 75 in Table Tennis, with two each from England & Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland making it to each final.

Congratulations to the day’s winners – 9th Newtownabbey (Chess), 1st Lisburn (Masterteam) and 45th Glasgow (Table Tennis) – and well done to everyone who took part!
