
Badminton & FIFA National Finals
Tuesday 18th March 2025On Saturday 15th March young people from across the UK travelled to Hertfordshire to take part in the finals of our Badminton and FIFA National Competitions.
Croxley Danes School in Croxley Green played host to the Badminton National Final, before teams headed to a presentation ceremony at BB Headquarters at Adeyfield Free Church, which also then hosted the FIFA National Final.
These are two of seven National Competitions, alongside Chess, 5-a-side Football (Company & Seniors), Masterteam (Quiz) and Table Tennis. Teams take part in a number of local rounds before reaching their regional final and then, if successful, going on to the National Final.
Congratulations to 1st Ballyclare who emerged victorious in the Badminton competition, with 6th/8th Dundee winning the FIFA event.

2nd: 1st Comber (Northern Ireland)
3rd: 4th Ballymoney (Northern Ireland)
4th: 11th Northampton (England)
5th: 1st Greenock (Scotland)
6th: 18th Gateshead (England)
We were delighted to be joined by Robert Voss CBE CStJ, Lord-Lieutenant of Hertfordshire, and Mayor of Dacorum Cllr Brenda Link, who helped to present awards and offer their congratulations to the teams.
Our last of three finals days will take place on Saturday 22nd March, which will see more teams from across the UK making their way to Lisburn in Northern Ireland for the Company & Seniors 5-a-side Football Finals.
