The relationship between our Companies and the local Church is one of the key ways we outwork our mission: helping children and young people learn, grow, and discover in a safe, fun, and caring environment rooted in the Christian faith.
The outworking of this may vary across different denominations and Churches, but whatever the relationship, we have cause to celebrate and give thanks that we are partners in the gospel.
“I thank my God every time I remember you. Resources for Celebration/Enrolment Services
One of the ways that the BB and Churches celebrate their partnership is through holding an annual enrolment/celebration service. For many Companies and Churches, this is one of the highlights of the year. Whatever may be happening in the relationship, coming together with a common purpose – to worship Jesus and celebrate – can have a profound effect. When we lift our eyes together in unity, away from day-to-day struggles, it can renew purpose, foster unity, and, as we are told in Psalm 133, bring blessing.
The following resources are designed to help you plan and deliver a memorable Celebration Service. Please adapt them to suit your own context and circumstances, particularly where the service forms part of a wider celebration of your church’s work with children and young people. The suggestions provided are intended as a guide and can be tailored to reflect the unique character of your Church, congregation and BB Company.

Here are some example formats for the Enrolment section of a Celebration Service. As with all the material in this resource, you should feel free to adapt them to suit your own setting. For example, you may have a Girls’ Association, or be using them as part of a joint service with a Girls’ Brigade Company, or need to reflect other aspects of your Church’s work with children and young people.
