Safeguarding & Managing Risk (East Anglia)

SAFEGUARDING

This session builds on the e-learning module that you have already completed, although we will be revisiting key areas.
Ultimately this module is all about ensuring that The Boys’ Brigade is a safe space for all. It is not just about keeping children & young people safe but being a youth organisation and a charity there are a number of rules, regulations and requirements that we have to adhere to. We also work in partnership with local Churches across different denominations and as part of this you may be required to follow their policies, procedures and training as well as our own.

Attendees should have completed all virtual training requirements before attending the session – e-learning module for Safeguarding.

MANAGING RISK

The module aims to enable participants to create a safe environment for children and young people and ensure that activities are organised and delivered safely.

Attendees should have completed all virtual training requirements before attending the session – e-learning module for Managing Risk.

For both trainings, please bring a notepad, pen and packed lunch. The course will start after the District AGM which will start at 10.00am.

Cost:- £5 – please pay cash on the day.
