Building Your Skills (Dundee)

Building Your Skills is for young people who are working towards their President’s Badge, and aims to develop the skills to work cooperatively with others, to help make a difference in their life and in their Company.

Objectives

By the end of the session participants will be able to:

• Understand the different roles they play within a group, and how they can change.
• Work effectively with others as part of a team to complete the task at hand.
• Recognise their own strengths and weaknesses and those of other team members.
• Use their experiences to make a difference in their own Companies.

Programme

• Welcome & Devotions (10 mins)
• Ice breakers (15 mins)
• Discussion: Roles (20 mins)
• Survival on the Moon (40 mins)
• Break (10 mins)
• Team Challenges (45 mins)
• You Can Make a Difference (20 mins)
• Going Forward & Goodbye (10 mins)

Please bring a snack, and a notepad and pen. Uniform is not required. Participants will be involved in some team activities so trainers should be worn.
