7th Dublin
Friday 9th December 20227th Dublin recently held their Company Enrolment, which was conducted by their Chaplain, Rev Norman McCausland, for the final time before moving to a new role in a different Diocese. This was followed by their Parents’ Evening and Prizegiving, where farewell presentations were made to Norman, his wife Tara – a leader in their Company – and their son Conor, who was a member of the Company age group.
The Parents’ Evening was full of activities and fun, as each of the age groups showed some of what they had been up to during a Covid-affected session. Members were presented with awards as well as a “well done” medal in recognition of their efforts. New cups were also presented in memory of the late Robert Warrington, founding Captain of 34th Dublin, for the best members of Anchors and Juniors.
During the summer the Company was able Get Adventurous using activities from the Programme Hub as well as making use of STEAM kits (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Maths) from the National Youth Council.
