Ukraine conflict resources
Thursday 28th April 2022Children and young people across the United Kingdom & Republic of Ireland have been seeing images and hearing stories of war within the European continent for the first time in their lives and will understandably be worried about what is happening and have lots of questions.
In March we launched a special set of new programme resources to support and equip Companies to explore the conflict in Ukraine. The activities are designed to help give children and young people an opportunity to learn more about what is happening, reflect on what they are seeing and a chance to think about how they can respond, including through prayer.
Jonathan Eales, Chief Executive, commented: “The images we have been watching from Ukraine are truly heart-breaking and our thoughts and prayers go out to all those affected by this conflict. As a Christian youth organisation we believe it’s incredibly important to create a space for children and young people in this country to explore and discuss what is happening, and consider what they can do to help.”
