We’re pleased to announce that we have now launched our termly programme for Summer 2022. The Summer programme covers from the start of May through to the end of August and provides leaders with 40 activities and themes to explore over the next few months. In addition to the standard termly resources, we’ve also provided five additional cards centred around the Platinum Jubilee celebrations in June.

The Summer Term is used by many groups as an opportunity to get outside and become even more adventurous. We’ve therefore made sure that a number of the Activity Cards and Themes this term include opportunities to allow children and young people to do just that.
Outdoor highlights this term include Nature Anchors (Anchors), Painting with Chalk (Anchors), Cricket Rounders (Juniors), Twig Frames (Juniors), Kite Making (Juniors), Pitch Perfect (Company), Chocolate Orange Campfire Puddings (Company), On Your Bike (Company), Soaked (Company), Water Sponge Dodgeball (Seniors), Challenge Walk (Seniors)
For those groups that wish to take on even more outdoor activities this summer, please can we remind you of our Go Wild Challenge that was launched in Summer 2021. This challenge features 25 activities for Anchors & Juniors and 20 activities for Company & Seniors, all aimed at getting children and young people outdoors and exploring the world around them. The medals and certificates for the challenge remain available on the Programme Hub (Certificates) and the BB Shop.
As well as the 40 standard programme cards for Summer 2022, we’ve also included five additional cards that help children and young people to celebrate the Jubilee and find out more about The Queen, her life and her 70 years on the throne.
