Happy Christmas from The Boys’ Brigade!
Thursday 19th December 20242024 has been a year filled with activity, challenge and opportunity.
Across the country, our leaders have provided countless opportunities for children and young people to live life to the full and to encounter the love of Jesus.
We held our first Social Media Awards, launched our Elevate training to support and equip young leaders, and focussed our energies on our strategy to improve the quality of experience for children and young people. We completed the sale of Felden Lodge, and although tinged with sadness, will help provide financial stability for the years ahead.
Through funding from DCMS and the Scottish Government we have provided dedicated support to over 180 groups, invested in our programme delivery, and developed new expressions of BB to support Churches in engaging with young people. We have also begun the journey of reimagining our volunteer led support structure as we strive to provide the very best support to our groups.
It has been a busy year! A huge thank you to our volunteer leaders, partners, funders, trustees and staff who dedicate their time and skills so generously to support children and young people be the best they can be.
We look forward to all the possibilities that 2025 will bring.
