Get Creative: Peppermint Creams

Ingredients
- 75g Icing Sugar (sifted)
- 38g Carnation condensed milk
- Peppermint extract/flavouring (2/3 drops to taste)
- 20g plain chocolate (optional to decorate)
Equipment
- Mixing bowl
- Rolling pin
- Wooden spoon
- Shaped cutters or knife
Instructions
- Mix the icing sugar, milk and peppermint extract together until it forms a smooth dough. If the mixture is too dry add a little more condensed milk. If too wet add a little more icing sugar.
- Dust your work surface with icing sugar and roll the dough out to ¼” thick.
- Cut into approx. 1” circles, squares, stars etc. using cutters or a knife.
- Leave in a cool place to dry for an hour.
- Once dry, you could add chocolate, by drizzling or half dunk them in melted chocolate. Allow to dry for a few minutes.
