Badminton & Fifa National Finals 2026

Monday 27th April 2026

On Saturday 25th April the third of our three National Finals days took place in Scotland, with the Badminton final being held at Grangemouth Sports Complex and Fifa at Carronvale House.

These events are two of our seven annual National Competitions, alongside Chess, Football (Company & Seniors), Masterteam (Quiz) and Table Tennis. Each competition sees teams take part in a number of local rounds before reaching their regional final and then, if successful, going on to the National Final.

62 teams entered the Badminton competition and 101 teams got involved in Fifa, with two each from England & Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland making it to each final.

Congratulations to this session’s champions – 1st Granshaw (Badminton) and 2nd/7th East Kilbride (Fifa) – and well done to everyone who took part!

2nd: 4th/5th Kilmarnock (Scotland)
3rd: 79th Glasgow (Scotland)
4th: 14th North West Durham (England)
5th: 4th Newtownabbey (Northern Ireland)
6th: 1st Kempston (England)

Fifa

1st: 2nd/7th East Kilbride (Scotland)
2nd: 11th Northampton A (England)
3rd: 1st Greenisland (Northern Ireland)
4th: 11th Northampton B (England)
5th: 1st Polmont (Scotland)
6th: 11th Bangor (Northern Ireland)

A big thank you to all those who were involved in making the event possible, and to Sir Iain McMillan CBE DL, Deputy Lieutenant for Stirling & Falkirk, who was on hand to make presentations and offer some words of encouragement to the participants.
