Football National Finals 2026

Monday 9th March 2026

On Saturday 7th March the first of our three National Finals days for 2025-26 took place, with teams of young people from across the UK heading to Clifton Sports Hub at Nottingham Trent University to try to become our 5-a-side Football National Champions.

With separate finals taking place for the Company and Seniors age groups, these are two of seven annual National Competitions alongside Badminton, Chess, FIFA, Masterteam (Quiz) and Table Tennis. Each competition sees teams take part in a number of local rounds before reaching their regional final and then, if successful, going on to the National Final.

This session’s Football Competitions saw 71 teams enter the Company event and 58 in Seniors, with over 950 young people taking part across both age groups.

Congratulations to 7th/16th Motherwell who won the Company age group final, and 1st Kilkeel who were victorious in the Seniors event!

1st: 1st Kilkeel (Northern Ireland)
2nd: 2nd Gourock (Scotland)
3rd: 1st Granshaw (Northern Ireland)
4th: 7th Northampton (England)
5th: 1st Overtown (Scotland)
6th: 10th Enfield (England)
