To end 2025, and as part of our Autumn programme of activities, Company & Senior age groups were challenged to take on our ‘Big Fat Quiz of the Year 2025’, putting young people’s knowledge of the year to the test.
The Big Fat Quiz covered four rounds, including 2025 in the news, the year’s most viral moments, a year in sport and the top hits of 2025. Questions covered everything from Netflix’s Adolescence TV series to the Oasis reunion, Jet2Holiday adverts to the Women’s Euros.
It was great to see so many teams taking part. We had entries from across the UK from the north of Scotland to the south coast of England. In total 120 teams submitted their scores to us at BBHQ, with some very impressive and competitive score being achieved.

We’re pleased to announce that the overall winners were 3rd Perth, who scored 38/40. They have received a prize of a £50 Amazon voucher, which they can spend on equipment for their group. Congratulations to all the teams who took part!

If your group have enjoyed taking part in the quiz competition and would like to do more in the future, then check out our Masterteam competition. This takes place as part of our National Competitions each year and features a wide range of topics. You can find an example of a previous round online, which you could try out with your group.
Entries for the 2026/27 will open in July, so if you’ve not taken part this year, then why not think about getting involved next session!
