Celebrating our new groups
Thursday 5th June 2025It’s fantastic that a number of new BB groups have started recently, seeing us partnering with more Churches to help them reach out to children and young people in their communities with a message of hope rooted in Jesus.
1st Calne, in Wiltshire, is one of our newest groups, having launched last month. In a few short weeks they have already taken on a wide range of activities enabling their members to be active and creative, learn things and explore faith, and have recently even held their very first Awards Evening!
Wayne Lawther, who is a leader at 1st Calne and minister of Calne Baptist Church, said: “We thank God that 1st Calne has got off to such a great start. Each week sees an increase in numbers and we’re loving being a part of the BB family!”
This Volunteers’ Week, thank you to the leaders at 1st Calne and all of our 7,000+ leaders across the country for all they do to provide opportunities for children and young people to experience “life to the full” (John 10:10).
