Introducing the King’s Badge
Saturday 20th July 2024We are pleased to announce that we have recently received confirmation from Buckingham Palace that our Patron, HM The King has approved the design of the King’s Badge.
The King’s Badge will become the Brigade’s highest award from 1st September 2024, taking over from the Queen’s Badge. As part of the transition young people currently working towards our highest award will, if applying before 31st August 2024, be awarded the Queen’s Badge, and if applying from 1st September 2024 be awarded the King’s Badge.
There are no changes to the requirements for completing the award. We are currently updating the Record Book and supporting resources and these will all be available to support Advisors, Mentors and Participants from 1st September 2024 at boys-brigade.org.uk/kings-badge
