Ministry Team update
Friday 26th May 2023We are delighted to welcome Alistair Bassett to the Staff Team at BB Headquarters as Ministry Support Worker.
The Boys’ Brigade is passionate about its partnership with the local Church and building bridges into communities to engage a generation of children and young people with a message of hope rooted in Jesus.
As part of our newly-formed Ministry Team, Alistair will support our work to develop strategies and tools to help equip local Churches to reach out to children and young people in their communities, including looking at new ways of working in partnership with local Churches and increasing the awareness of what The Boys’ Brigade can provide to support children’s & youthwork ministry in Churches across the country.
Alistair said: “I joined 22nd Northampton at the age of five and it’s an honour to have been part of the BB family ever since. For the past four years I have been working for local Churches doing children’s & youth ministry, and I recently got married.”
“I’m excited to be joining the Ministry Team and to be looking at how we can strengthen and develop our faith along with our Object, Vision, Mission and Values throughout all aspects of BB, including our relationships with local Churches and wider Christian organisations.”
