Development and Support Team Update
Monday 24th April 2023We are delighted to welcome two new additions to the Development and Support Team at BB Headquarters.
Fiona Spooner joins us as the Development and Engagement Worker for Central Scotland, with Caroline McBain joining to undertake the same role in Central England.
Both Fiona and Caroline will work to support and develop existing groups and establish new groups primarily in their respective areas, along with the development of resources and strategies to enable this.
Fiona (pictured left) said: “I’m delighted to be joining the Staff Team as the Development and Engagement Worker in Central Scotland. As a Captain within Paisley Battalion, I enjoy working alongside other volunteers to support children and young people to learn, grow and discover.”
“I’m looking forward to finding out about all the fantastic things our groups across Scotland are offering to our young people and supporting them to grow, as well as looking at opportunities to start new work.”
Caroline, right, said: “I’m delighted to be joining The Boys’ Brigade as the Development and Engagement Worker for Central England. I have worked in the voluntary youth sector for a number of years and look forward to learning about and working with different groups within the BB.“
“I am passionate about youth work and excited for the opportunities available to young people within the BB and my role in encouraging our young people to experience life to the full.”
