Vacancy: Chair of Trustee Board
Monday 13th March 2023The Brigade Executive (Trustee Board of The Boys’ Brigade) is seeking to co-opt an experienced, dynamic individual with a passion for the work of the organisation to the Board with a view to taking on the role of Chair of Trustees from September 2023.
The Brigade Executive has responsibility for overseeing the work of the organisation across the UK and RoI. As the legal Board of Trustees, its role includes ensuring the organisation effectively fulfils its charitable objectives, determining the overall strategic direction of the organisation and ensuring availability of resources.
Jonathan Eales, Chief Executive commented: “This is an exciting opportunity to help deliver our five-year strategy to improve the quality of experience for children and young people, and assist in shaping the future direction of the organisation.”
The Boys’ Brigade was founded nearly 140 years ago for the purpose of engagement and outreach to children and young people to advance Christ’s kingdom. Everything within the Brigade, whether within a local group or our support structures, including the Brigade Executive, is there to serve this purpose.
