Recruitment Resources

King Charles III’s Coronation

To help groups to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III on Saturday 6th May 2023, we’ve put together some programme resources, activities and competitions for children and young people to get involved with.

For more information visit boys-brigade.org.uk/coronation

Activity Cards

We have produced seven new activity cards, featuring a variety of activity areas, to help groups to explore more about the coronation and learn about King Charles III, as well as opportunities to celebrate and pray.

Discover these Coronation resources on the Programme Hub

Coronation Activity Sheets

We’ve also created a couple of activity sheets that can be used by Anchors & Juniors. Ideal for an arrival activity or a 5-minute filler activity.

Check out these resources on the Activity Sheets section of the Programme Hub

Competitions

To further support and encourage groups to get involved with the coronation celebrations, we are running two competitions.

Crown Competition: Fit for a King. Anchors & Juniors are challenged to design a crown that is fit for a King. Crowns will be judges on their design, creativity and their ‘wow factor’.

Coronation Photo Competition: With groups across the country expected to complete special activities, throw parties, design crowns, learn about the King and much more, we want to encourage groups to share photos of what they are doing, using #BBCoronation.

For out more information about both competitions on our Competitions page.

King Charles III Coronation Badge

A special badge has been designed to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III. These are priced at £3 and can be purchased by members and non-members.

Badges can be ordered on a pre-order basis.

To find out more about all these resources, alongside more information about the Coronation, please head to our dedicated Coronation Webpage.
