I am Emily Bell from 1st Lenzie BB company.
Why do you volunteer as a BB leader?
I love volunteering and BB has given loads of new opportunities, experiences and friends.
What do you think has been your biggest achievement in the BB?
Completing KGVI training which involved doing things I never thought I could.
What female role model inspires you?
Laverne Cox who is an actress who has overcome diversity and local female leaders through organisations that go above and beyond their roles and are great people.
How do think your volunteering influences others – particularly young women?
Volunteering is an opportunity to make a difference to young people. I hope I’m able to show other young women how far it can take you and help you grow as a person and that there are no boundaries no matter what you think you are or aren’t capable of.
