UK Parliament Week 2024
Wednesday 27th November 2024It has been great to see BB members across the country getting involved in UK Parliament Week!
UK Parliament Week is an annual event, which this year took place from 18th to 24th November. It aims to help people get informed about the UK Parliament and other administrations, to take action and to make an impact on issues they care about.
Our children and young people got involved in a variety of ways, through holding discussions, debates and votes, quizzes, creative activities and lots more. Some groups also had the opportunity to meet local politicians including MPs, local councillors, mayors, MSs and MSPs.

Featured image: Zöe Franklin, who was newly elected as Member of Parliament for Guildford earlier this year, visiting members of 1st Guildford as part of their Debate Night. Zöe listened to the debate and then held a Q&A with the young people.
