The start of a new year at BB is here, as we launch our 2024/25 session. To assist leaders in delivering high quality programme activities to our children and young people, we have launched the Autumn 2024 programme.
The Autumn programme covers from September through to the end of December and provides leaders with over 100 activities, spread across stand alone activities and themed programmes.
Below we take a look at some of our Autumn 2024 programme highlights, exciting partnerships, and changes to how the programme looks for leaders.
We have over 100 activities that form part of the Autumn 2024 programme. We’ve partnered with a few organisations and businesses for the Autumn programme, to help bring you activities on a range of topics. These include:
Bolton University: As part of our ‘Your Future’ Programme, we’ve produced two further activities to help young people explore opportunities and carers available to them beyond school & college. Our two partnership cards for Autumn 2024 focus on Forensics & Engineering.
Konnect Radio: Konnect Radio is a Christian radio station that play both Christian & mainstream music, existing to see every life impact by the love of Jesus. Our partnership activity encourages Seniors to explore Podcasts and have a go at recording one of their own.
Holy Squiggles: Holy Squiggles is a fun way to engage with the Bible, using doodles which need decoding to find the hidden Bible verse. After solving the puzzles, spend some time diving into our curious questions.
Rotary: We’ve teamed up with Rotary GB & Ireland as part of their ‘End Polio Now’ campaign. We’re encourage all age groups to get involved, learn more about Polio and consider how they can raise some money towards ending polio for good worldwide.
Refresh: Navigating life and the pressures of being a young person can be difficult. Refresh PR have produced a themed programme to encourage young people to foster positive character development, teamwork and lifelong learning, preparing them to make informed decisions.
