VE Day 75th Anniversary
Wednesday 12th August 2020Although lockdown meant that face-to-face celebrations of the 75th Anniversary of VE Day on 8th May weren’t possible, Brigade members across the country marked the occasion in their own homes – celebrating as best as they could whilst remembering those who gave so much in the Second World War.
A number of that week’s #BBatHOME activities were themed around VE Day, with children and young people in all age groups being encouraged to hold a VE Day Party with their families. Search the hashtag #BBatHOME to see more of what went on over the weekend.
