Remembering Sydney Jones OBE
Friday 29th July 2022We are very sorry to report that Sydney Jones OBE, former Secretary of The Boys’ Brigade, passed away peacefully in April, aged 85. Born in a London workhouse himself, Sydney dedicated his life to helping disadvantaged young people, giving them a better chance to fulfil their full potential.
He served as Brigade Secretary from 1998 until 2001, and received an OBE for Services to Young People.
