5th Carrickfergus Juniors support for Ukraine
Thursday 28th April 2022Caleb, a Junior at 5th Carrickfergus designed his own poster to appeal for donations of food, clothing and essential hygiene items for the people of Ukraine. He then spoke to his fellow Juniors explaining to the group about the donations for Ukrainian refugees. They then went without their pancakes on Shrove Tuesday, freeing up the money that would have been spent to buy a selection of items for Ukrainian refugees.
The group learnt some facts about Ukraine and ended with a session of prayer using some visual aids to help think about those who they were praying for.
