Youth Leader Training

Youth Leader Training – Edinburgh, Leith & District and West Lothian Battalions

Dates:- Part 1 – Saturday 26th October 2024/Part 2 – Saturday 23rd November 2024

Times:- 9.30am – 5pm

Venue:- Davidson Mains Church Hall, 1 Quality Street, Edinburgh.

Organised by Edinburgh, Leith & District and  West Lothian Battalions.

Youth Leader Training (YLT) is a 2-day course.  Please note to complete the training participants must attend both sessions.

If applicants do not hold a valid current First Aid Certificate, they may wish to Complete emergency First Aid training(Venue and Date still TBC) this is normally a half day course.  A separate registration form will be available for this.

Tea and coffee will be provided, but participants should bring a packed lunch for Parts 1 & 2.

Each individual registered for Youth Leader Training must at present be active within a Company in a leadership role(e.g. registered as a Helper, Instructor or Warrant Officer).

Participants will only be permitted to attend the course upon completion of OBM e-learning modules – Managing Risk and Safeguarding.  Please note your OBM qualification records will be checked in advance of the course date.
