Virtual Company Management Training

Company Management Training aims to provide leaders with the necessary management skills and resources to undertake the role of Captain or Leader-in-Charge in an effective way.

BB Headquarters is offering this course over two Saturdays in October/November 2024.

The course is open to any registered leader looking to undertake the role of Captain or Leader-in-Charge, or for anyone already in post.

Prior to attending, participants must be registered with The Boys’ Brigade and have completed the e-learning modules in Safeguarding and Managing Risk.

The modules will be delivered as follows:

Saturday 26th October

• Management Role (10:00am to 10:45am)
• Safeguarding (10:55am to 11:55am)
• Managing Risk (12:05pm to 12:50pm)
• Reflective Practice (12:50pm to 1:30pm)

Saturday 9th November

• Planning (10:00am to 10:45am)
• Managing & Supporting (10:45am to 12:15pm)
• Developing (12:25pm to 1:30pm)

Whilst full Company Management Training is being offered, there is also an opportunity for leaders to complete any of the modules as a standalone, either to upskill/as a refresher, or to complete remaining modules required after missing some whilst previously working towards CMT.
