Building Your Skills – Mid Scotland Battalions

Date:- Saturday 22nd February 2025

Time:- 9.30am – 12.30pm

Venue:- Kinross Church Centre, 64 High Street, Kinross.  KY13 8AJ.

AIM – For young people to develop the skills to work co-operatively with others, to help make a difference in their life and in their Company.

OBJECTIVES:- By the end of the session participants will be able to:

• Understand the different roles they play within a group, and how they can change.
• Work effectively with others as part of a team to complete the task at hand.
• Recognise their own strengths and weaknesses and those of other team members.
• Use these experiences to make a difference in their Company.

Programme:-

• Welcome & Devotions (10mins)
• Icebreakers (15mins)
• Discussion: Roles (20mins)
• Survival on the Moon (40mins).  Break (10mins)
• Team Challenges (45mins)
• You Can Make a Difference (20mins)
• Going Forwards & Goodbye (10mins)

Please bring a snack.

Please bring a notepad and pen.

Uniform is not required.  You will be involved in some team activities so trainers should be worn.
