Jubilee Beacon in Fraserburgh

Members of 1st Fraserburgh and 1st Rosehearty were present for the lighting of a Jubilee Beacon at Kinnaird Head Lighthouse in Fraserburgh, also helping to keep the lighthouse going by winding its clockwork machine at 15-minute intervals between 8pm and midnight.

Gift deliveries in Dunblane

To mark the Platinum Jubilee, members of 25th Stirling delivered gifts of shortbread in commemorative tins from Dementia Friendly Dunblane to older members of the local community, giving them an extra treat to celebrate with!

Glasgow Cathedral Service

Members of 278th Glasgow and 4th East Kilbride represented the Brigade at a service at Glasgow Cathedral to mark the Platinum Jubilee, following which they appeared on BBC Scotland News and STV News after being interviewed at the event.

Beacon lighting in Mountjoy

Members of 1st Mountjoy came together with the local Girls’ Brigade, Scouts and Air Cadet groups for the lighting of a Jubilee Beacon at the top of Bessy Bell.

Big Weekend Carnival

Well done to everyone at 1st Tewkesbury, who won first place with their mobile Platinum Jubilee Street Party as part of the town’s Big Weekend Carnival!
