Many of us have so many fond memories of taking part in BB activities focused on the Queen. Whilst our younger members only have the Platinum Jubilee to look back on, some of us can recall the Diamond Jubilee and Baton Relay and were glad to celebrate both occasions: for Her Majesty’s support has always been with the Brigade. Our connection to the late sovereign was also a sense of great pride, as I’m sure our Queen’s Badge holders will agree. We recently dedicated our new colours as a sign of duty to our Queen and will continue to carry them in her honour, and as a sign of duty to our new King.
