In 2016 our company was celebrating its 100th Anniversary. With a spurr of of the moment thought I wondered if the Queen would send like to send a centenary birthday card to our company. Somehow still unknown I managed to speak directly to her secretary at the palace and explained our request. I was told that ” I am sure the queen would be delighted to oblige”. Within days we were overjoyed to receive a signed card from the Queen to help commemorate our company anniversary. She clearly had a passion for the Boys Brigade and was a role model of a patron for our organisation. God bless her and may she rest in Peace
