Although I didn’t get to meet the Queen during her time as Patron, I was able to explore the relationship our late monarch had with the ‘BB’ whilst researching and writing the obituary for The Queen that has since been published on the ‘BB’ website.

It is an honour to have played this small part in recording the history of these two great institutions, and seeing how the late Queen held the values of The Boys’ Brigade close to her heart is wonderful to have seen.
