Water Sports
What You’ll Need:
- Water Sports Centre or Similar
Getting into the Activity
Take to the water and enjoy a session learning to canoe / kayak or similar.
Water sports are a great addition to any programme during the summer months. For this activity you will need to make contact with a local water sports provider who can offer you professional and safe water sports. Alternatively, a BB leader with the appropriate qualifications can lead this activity.
Beforehand find out what water sports the provider can offer and then talk to your group about the different activities. Have a discussion and then hold a vote to see which water sport the group would like to do.
Which water sport will your group want to take on? If they enjoy the session, consider returning at a later date and learning more skills or giving another water sport a try.
