Mini Golf

Tuesday 1st September 2020

Get Active: Mini Golf

Age Group: Company / Seniors

Time: 30+ Minutes

Preparation Needed: Preparation Needed

What You’ll Need:

  • Obstacles
  • Putters
  • Golf Balls

Getting into the Activity:

Create a mini golf course in your meeting space and then set up a competition.

Setting up a Course > Encourage each young person (or pairs) to create a mini golf hole, with different obstacles or challenges to complete. For example, you could use Jenga bricks as obstacles, cardboard as ramps, drainpipes as tunnels and plastic cups as holes.

Create a Competition > Now the course is complete, young people can take it in turns to complete each hole, trying to get the lowest score. Keep a track of the scores and see who the winner is.

Keeping Everyone Safe

Maintain social distancing where required. Young people should ideally have their own putter and golf ball. Where equipment needs to be shared, this should be done within small teams, with young people washing their hands both before and afterwards. Obstacles which have been handles will either need to be cleaned after use or left to quarantine for 72+ hours.
