Stop, Look and Listen for National Safeguarding Month

To mark the start of National Safeguarding Month on 28th February, UK Youth is calling on all organisations that work with young people to Stop what they’re doing, Look at their safeguarding practices, Listen to young people and take action.

We’ve been challenged to make a pledge that will improve the way we safeguard children and young people in the BB.

So this is our pledge:
“The Boys’ Brigade pledges to share safeguarding updates through our communication channels on a regular basis. We also pledge to keep young people at the centre of everything we do, and particularly to enable them to assess risks and their own safety by using programme activities and resources designed to empower and enrich young lives”
